Nothing affects us today more directly and personally than the internet. This is embedded in the policy area of “connectivity”. The seminar will investigate the key aspects of connectivity regarding actors, institutions and policy issues, as the digital divide between haves and have-nots, the internet governance between freedom and regulation as well as the growing threats of cyberwars. Our analyses and assessments shall lead to a creative proposal for a secure and equitable global order for connectivity.

The seminar was offered in the winter semesters 2022/23 and 2023/24.
In a similar form and under the title "International Communication Policy" it was offered in the winter semester 2005/06 as well as in the summer semesters 2008, 2014 and 2018.
